The BAG Networking "Business Associates Group"‪ is made up of volunteers that generously give their time and efforts to help make a difference in the community. Your tax-deductible donations allow us to continue to assist charities, organizations, and individuals within our community. ‪100% of the proceeds from our events stay right here in the communities we serve and all donations are taken directly to the benefactor's headquarters. To further support our "Friends in Business" we only use privately owned venues and local artists. For our events, we deliberately keep our ticket prices low so that all can enjoy and stress our dress code as "It Is Not About What You Are Wearing,‪🎩👗📸❤️🌎It Is About How Much You Are Caring". We are an established 501c3 Non-Profit professional networking group that promotes business, charity, and philanthropy within the San Diego, Orange, and Riverside County communities. Membership is Free. This group meets every 2nd Tuesday of the month from 5:30-8:30pm allowing its members to build a strong rapport within a diverse business population.

A native of Beverly Hills, California, Mr. Cafaro learned early on the value of philanthropy and community service. He is deeply involved in civic and charitable initiatives, having served as a Member of the Executive Committee and Board Treasurer for The California Center for the Arts, Escondido. Additionally, he has contributed his leadership as a Board Member for California State University San Marcos and as a member of Rotary International. He also co-chairs The BAG (Business Associates Group) Networking, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports organizations such as Scripps M.D. Anderson, Ronald McDonald House, and the San Diego Food Bank.

Mr. Cafaro earned his Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from California State University, Northridge, following his studies at UCLA. Outside of his professional and philanthropic commitments, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Barbara, and their son, Robert Jr. He is also an avid motorsports enthusiast.

Miguel Garcia is a seasoned financial services professional with over a decade of experience in loan processing, risk management, and client relations across the banking and real estate industries. He currently serves at KJ Processing, where he oversees all phases of processing, funding, and post-funding quality control for mortgage, commercial real estate, and business loans. Miguel is known for his ability to coordinate seamlessly with loan officers, underwriters, escrow, and borrowers to ensure accurate documentation, timely closings, and superior client service.

Previously, Miguel worked as an EDD Investigator with Banc of California, specializing in BSA/AML regulatory compliance, enhanced due diligence, and financial intelligence reporting. His achievements included developing internal process guides, facilitating new hire training, and strengthening compliance across high-risk customer portfolios.

Earlier in his career, Miguel held positions with California Bank & Trust, Casino Essentials, and Comerica Bank, where he built expertise in commercial loan structuring, portfolio management, customer onboarding, and operational oversight. His leadership was recognized through achievements such as leading diversity & inclusion initiatives, coordinating AML/BSA training programs, and consistently exceeding performance and compliance standards. He also holds certifications in AML/BSA compliance, Excel for data analysis, and is currently pursuing advanced data analytics training through IBM.
